Nabipur Cricket Club 1st XI won their last match against Varediya C P Cricket Club in the Quarter-Finals.

Nabipur won the toss and elected to bat.

The two opening batsmen Mehfuz (45) and Soyab (35) gave Nabipur an explosive start and put on a first wicket partnership of 65.

With a great start from both opening batsmen, it set the platform up for the Nabipur batting line to post a good score, Mobin Kaduji (10), Azim Malji (8). The experience play of Parvez showing why he is still playing for the 1st XI as he scored an important 20 runs, along with young Saddam Miya who was involved in the partnership to help Nabipur score 148 all out in 27 overs.

The two over 6 foot Pacemen attack of Saeed Ghanti and Azim Malji economical bowling as Varediya were 26/0 in 8 overs. Nabipur’s old & experience Captain Marvel Mustafa Athni got the first break through, since then Varediya couldn’t settle down as the dominating bowling attack of Nabipur were too much for them. Varediya were all out for 120 runs, All the bowlers performed well, 3 wickets for Mustafa Athni, 2 wickets for Saeed Ghanti who at one stage was on a hattrick, 2 wickets for Ikram Athni & 1 wicket for Azim Malji.

Nabipur Cricket Club 1st XI win by 28 runs.
