Nabipur CC won the toss and elected to bat first and posted a remarkable score of 201 for 8 in their allotted 35 overs.

Nabipur CC contributors with the bat were:

Mobin Kaduji 50 not out, Soyab Fefrawala 42, Azim Malji 40, Ikram Athni 15, Mehfuz 12

Valan CC were all out for 156 runs

Match 2 Twenty20 Match in Pariej Cricket Ground

Nabipur CC Vs Luwara Cerry Packer CC

Luwara won the toss and elected to bat first.

Luwara started explosively in the first 5 overs with a score of 60 without loss of a wicket. The change of pace to the spinners Mustafa Athni (2 wickets) & Parvez Gashwala (2 Wickets) got the important break throughs and changed the momentum of the game towards the advantage of Nabipur CC. Azim Malji (2 Wickets) & Saeed Ghanti (2 wickets) bowled well on their 2nd spell to finally get Luwara CC all out for 104.

Nabipur CC made it difficult for themselves wickets were falling regulary. Contributions from Ikram Athni 28, informed batsman Soyab Fefrawala 25, important contributions from Azim Malji (16), Mehfuz (14) and an important 14 not out from Parvez Gashwala to bring it home for Nabipur CC as they scored 105 for 8 in 18 overs.

Makan CC Vs Nabipur CC



Makan CC won the toss and elected to field first, was it a right decision field first, let’s find out what happened.

Nabipur CC batsman played a positive innings with Mehfuz (69), Mobin Kaduji (28), Soyab Fefrawala (27 in 18 balls), Ikram Athni (27) were the main contributors in posting a total of 204 all out with overs to spare.


On the run chase, the home crowd of Makan CC were behind their team, but Nabipur CC had other ideas. Excellent bowling from both pacemen Saeed Ghanti (3 Wickets) & Azim Malji (2 wickets) who tore through the top order batting line up of Makan CC. Other bowlers contributed with a wicket each to their names. Makan CC were all out for 170.

Nabipur CC won the match by 34 runs and win the Makan Tournament Trophy on their very first entry in their competition and have won it.

Man of the Match (Batsman), Mehfuz, for his outstanding 69 runs scored in the final.



Man of the Match (Bowler), Saeed Ghanti, match winning bowling performance for taking the first 3 wickets which helped Nabipur CC to be on the driving seat for victory.
